Beloved of All
I'm not a fan of leeches. No, I don't mean those fat black worms that attach themselves to you and suck the blood, but these people who once they become fairly friendly with you instead of just appreciating your companionship they see it as an opportunity to get this and that from you, and to always hint at and wrangle for more. It seems to be something in human nature to "squeeze" those close to them, and they see the closeness as a chance to suck things out of you. I think this is selfishly using someone and they seem to make a lifestyle out of it. That people stop squeezing me this way.

Heavenly Father, we come before you on behalf of ###, who is seeking your intervention in a situation where he feels that certain individuals in his life are taking advantage of his kindness and friendship. Lord, we ask for your guidance and protection for ### as he navigates these relationships.

In your Word, you teach us to love one another and to treat others with kindness and respect. You also warn us against selfishness and using others for personal gain. We pray that you would open the eyes of those who are squeezing ### in this way, helping them to see the error of their actions and to change their behavior.

Lord, we ask for your wisdom and discernment for ### as he interacts with these individuals. Grant him the strength to set healthy boundaries and to assert himself when necessary. Help him to find the balance between showing love and kindness, while also protecting his own well-being.

We also pray for a transformation in the hearts of those who are engaging in this behavior. May they come to understand the value of genuine friendship and learn to appreciate others for who they are, rather than what they can gain from them.

Lord, we trust in your power to bring about change and healing in relationships. We ask for your grace and mercy to be poured out upon ### and those involved, that they may experience reconciliation and restoration.

In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

I'm not a fan of fearful people. Not only do I think they're "overdoing it", but they tend to try to push their way on you. That said, an example--the health dept. is saying the mask mandates in one state after another are falling. Then why do I still see the majority of people with those...
