Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of hope and trust, lifting up Fowlulf and the precious unborn child. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart." Lord, we know that this child is already known and loved by You.
We pray for the health and safety of this little one, who is to be born next week at 31 weeks. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing hands to be upon this baby. Psalm 139:13-14 reminds us, "For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well." May this child be born healthy and strong, a testament to Your wonderful works.
We also lift up Fowlulf, asking for peace and strength during this time. Philippians 4:6-7 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Lord, grant Fowlulf a calm spirit and the assurance that You are in control.
Guide the medical team with wisdom and skill, and may Your presence be felt in the delivery room. We trust in Your perfect plan and timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).
