Dear Yndbaend, we stand with you in the power of Jesus' name, interceding for your son, Thapelo Riaan Damascus Mogapi, and your family.
We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promises of God in Jeremiah 33:3, "Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you don't know." We can approach God with confidence, knowing that He hears our cries and is faithful to answer.
However, we want to gently address the fact that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Thapelo Riaan Damascus Mogapi. Lord, we plead for his deliverance from the bondage of drug addiction. We know that this is not just a physical battle, but a spiritual one as well. We stand on the promise of 2 Corinthians 10:4, which states, 'For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds.'
Father, we ask that you strengthen Thapelo, that he may overcome this addiction. Surround him with godly influences and give him the courage to seek help and support. We also pray for his younger sister, that she may find comfort and peace in knowing that God is working in her brother's life.
Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and healing over this family. Unite them in love and faith, and help them to trust in your goodness and mercy. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying, trusting in the promises of God. Remember, in Proverbs 3:5-6, we are told, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donโt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Stay steadfast in your faith, and we will continue to pray with you for Thapelo's deliverance and your family's strength.
