Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Martha and her recent job interview. Lord, you know the mixed feelings she has about the outcome of this interview. We ask that you grant her peace and assurance in your perfect plan for her life.
Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We pray that you fill Martha's heart with your peace, knowing that you are in control of every situation.
Father, we ask that if it is your will, you open the doors for Martha to receive this job opportunity. We pray for favor and wisdom to be upon her, that she may shine during the interview process. Your Word assures us in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." We ask for your wisdom to guide Martha in making the right decisions and for your favor to be upon her.
However, Lord, we also acknowledge that your plans are higher than our own. If this job is not meant for Martha, we trust in your divine wisdom and ask that you lead her to the right path and open doors for even better opportunities. Help her to trust in your perfect timing and to have faith that you have her best interests at heart.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. May Martha's heart be filled with hope and confidence in you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
