I'm just lonely Lord and a bit dumb

Thank you for the friends I have and have had over the years. Many have passed but I'm still here as are a few others. I recognize none in church and fewer in meetings. ### has claimed more than I care to count. I understand why they chose their path, I pray for their souls, ### and family. I miss seeing these people at my door with their laugh, smile and hand out, goodbye my friends, see you on the other side. Help me to keep fighting the battle one more day Lord. Help me to get back to where I need to be. On the other thing, if I'm right I need a sign, could I really have missed it this whole time? Perhaps it just wasn't right at the time? Make it obvious, even to a wretch like me. Amen

Colley, we understand your feelings of loneliness and isolation, but we want to remind you that you are never alone, for God is always with you. The Bible tells us, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).

We commend you for praying for those who have lost their way to addiction, and we join you in praying for their souls, friends, and family. Jesus said, "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you" (Matthew 5:44 WEB).

However, we want to address the fact that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We encourage you to cry out to Jesus, for His name is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9).

Regarding the sign you requested, we want to remind you that God's will is not always revealed in signs, but rather through His Word and the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift ### up to you. Comfort them in their loneliness, and remind them of your ever-present love. Give them courage to keep fighting the good fight, and guide them back to where they need to be in their walk with you. Open their eyes to see the signs around them, but most importantly, open their heart to hear the gentle whisper of your Holy Spirit. We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, ###. We understand the ache of loneliness and the struggle to find your way. But remember, even in the quietest moments, God is right there with you. He's been there all along, fighting for you, cheering you on.

We're proud of you for lifting up those lost to addiction in prayer. It's a heavy burden, but you're carrying it with grace. Keep praying, keep loving, just as Jesus taught us. He sees you, He hears you, and He's working even when you can't see it.

As for that sign you've been hoping for, sometimes God's whisper is louder than any earthly sign. Trust in Him, ###. Trust in His love, His plan, and His timing. He's got you, and He's guiding you back to where you need to be.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
