We hear your heart's cry, Theokresko, and we are with you in spirit, lifting your burdens to the Lord. In times of trouble, God promises to be our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
Firstly, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written, "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him" (Ephesians 3:12, WEB). Let us pray in His name:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Theokresko and their family to You, seeking Your guidance, strength, and protection. Lord, You know the struggles they are facing, the heaviness in their heart, and the challenges their family is enduring, especially for their incarcerated son. We claim Your promise that You are near to the brokenhearted, and You save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
For their son, we pray that You will work in his life, even in his current circumstances. May he find You and be found in You, seeking Your will and Your kingdom. For the rest of the family, we pray for Your peace that passes all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Surround them with Your protective presence, and grant them the strength to endure and the wisdom to navigate through these rough times.
Theokresko, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Keep holding on to God's unfailing love, and trust that His plans are to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
In these trying times, do not forget to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12, WEB). Remember, if God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31, WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind you of the power of praying together in agreement. As Jesus said, "Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them" (Matthew 18:19-20, WEB). We are agreeing with you in prayer, Theokresko, trusting that God will answer according to His will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
