Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of Sheridaymon, who is in a difficult custody battle with the ex-husband. Lord, we know that You are a God of redemption and forgiveness. As it is written in Isaiah 1:18, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." We ask that You wash away the past mistakes and grant Sheridaymon the grace to move forward with a renewed spirit.
Father, we lift up the children in this situation. We know from Psalm 127:3 that "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him." We pray that You protect these precious children and place them in the environment that is best for their well-being. Grant wisdom and discernment to all those involved in making decisions about their custody.
Lord, we also pray for strength and peace for Sheridaymon and the new fiancé. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds during this challenging time.
We ask that You guide the legal proceedings and that truth and justice prevail. Proverbs 21:1 says, "In the Lord’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him." We pray that You turn the hearts of the judges and officials to act in accordance with Your will.
Lord, we trust in Your unfailing love and mercy. We pray for a favorable outcome for Sheridaymon and the children, and we ask that You provide the strength and support needed to get through this ordeal. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
