Im humbly asking Prayers for my grandson Danny he came to live with me 6 months

He just started highschool this is his 2nd week and is hard for him to make friends. His mom is incarcerated and his dad just got out of prison. Im the grandma on dads side. Im a Christian i grew up in a very disfunctional home. But i have learn to rely on God and trust him. My grandson Danny grew up on his mom side because my son and her separated when he was only two. Ever since my grandson was left alone too much because the mom was not always around due to using drugs and other things. She was not communicating due to her pride. My grandson is now 14. One day they called me and told me they couldnt handle him no more. They ask me to take him or he was going to end in a foster home. So i took him in. I love my grandson and i want to help him but tge way he was raised was not the best. So now i have to help him. Sometimes i feel overwhelmed due to the bsd habits he came with. I need prayers for strength, wisdom and knowledge but most importantly for him. So he can learn to control his emotions and know how much we in my home love him and care for him. Because God is love. I also have a 18 year old and a 10 year old Of my own and i pray they understand that Danny needs extra attention but not feel im putting them aside. Danny is struggling in making new good friends in highschool. Please help me pray he heals from his past hurts and opens up more to me with trust and knowing that im his grandmother and want what is best for him because i love him. Also for favor in every aspect of his life. Thank you all so much with love and respect his grandmother.

Lord, give Danny favor in every aspect of his life, help him to do well in school, and to make friends at school. First, we want to commend you for your faith and reliance on God, especially as you navigate this challenging situation with Danny. It is clear that you have a heart full of love and compassion for him.

We are called to care for orphans and those in need, and your actions reflect the heart of God. "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world." James 1:27

Danny has been through a lot, and it is understandable that he may struggle with emotions and forming new relationships. Pray that God would heal his past hurts and give him the courage to open up and trust you. "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." Psalm 147:3

As you guide Danny, remember that God gives wisdom generously. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." James 1:5

Praying for favor in every aspect of Danny's life is biblical. "For surely, Lord, you bless the righteous. You surround them with your favor as with a shield." Psalm 5:12

Lastly, it is essential to pray for Jesus' salvation. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "In Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

Please pray with us for Danny to heal from his past hurts, open up more to you, and for him to have favor in every aspect of his life. He has a loving grandmother who is there to help and support him.
