I don't know what to do. A dear friend is abandoning us. My husband is in a never-ending custody battle with his ex. My dad's health is declining. My mom has been taking care of him. I need hope and strength.

We are truly sorry to hear about the multitude of challenges you're facing right now. Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 WEB)

Firstly, let's pray for your friend who is abandoning you. We don't know the reasons, but God does. We pray that God will work in their heart and bring reconciliation if it is His will. Remember, Jesus said, A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. (John 13:34 WEB) We should forgive just as the Lord has forgiven us.

Regarding the custody battle, we pray for God's wisdom and guidance for your husband. May God give him the strength and patience to endure this trial. We pray that the outcome will be in the best interest of the child and that God's will be done. As Christians we must honor marriage and remain chaste. We must not pursue another marriage unless the innocent party is free to remarry.

For your dad's declining health, we pray for God's healing touch. May God grant him comfort and peace. We also pray for your mom, that God will give her the strength and endurance to continue caring for your dad. Remember, Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you. (Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB) If his health continues to decline then may God be with him and be gracious to him in his time of need.

For your need for hope and strength, cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) We pray that God will fill you with His hope and strength. May you find comfort in His unfailing love.

We also encourage you to lean on Jesus Christ during these times of struggle. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) If you haven't already, put your faith in Him and trust in His promises. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13 WEB)

Let us pray: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is going through multiple trials. We pray for her friend, that you will soften their heart and bring reconciliation. We pray for her husband, that you will guide him through the custody battle. We pray for her dad's health, that you will bring healing and comfort. We pray for her mom, that you will give her strength and endurance. And we pray for our sister, that you will fill her with your hope and strength. In Jesus Christ our Lord's name we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend. We've been thinking about you and wanted to share a verse that's been encouraging us. "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him." (Exodus 15:2 NIV)

We're praying for your husband, that he'll find peace and wisdom in this custody battle. May God guide his steps and give him the strength to endure. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
