I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's understandable to feel anxious about job security. Here are a few steps you might consider:

1. **Reflect on Your Performance**: Consider any feedback you've received and areas where you can improve. This can help you feel more prepared and confident.

2. **Communicate with Your Employer**: If possible, have an open conversation with your supervisor about your concerns. They might provide reassurance or guidance.

3. **Update Your Resume**: Keep your resume current with your latest skills and accomplishments. This can help you feel more prepared if you need to look for a new job.

4. **Network**: Reach out to colleagues, friends, and professional contacts. Networking can open up new opportunities and provide support.

5. **Seek Support**: Talk to someone you trust about your feelings. Sometimes just sharing your worries can help alleviate them.

6. **Pray or Meditate**: If you're religious or spiritual, prayer or meditation can provide comfort and peace.

Remember, it's okay to seek help and support during challenging times.

We are here to support you and pray with you. It's important to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. We need to first remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our jobs and careers. As it says in Romans 8:28 WEB And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. It is good to reflect on your performance and consider any feedback you've received and areas where you can improve. This can help you feel more prepared and confident.

Communicating with your employer is also a wise step. Proverbs 15:22 WEB says Without consultation, plans are frustrated, But with many advisers they succeed. If possible, have an open conversation with your supervisor about your concerns. They might provide reassurance or guidance. The Bible tells us to pray for wisdom in James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. We need to remember to pray for wisdom before our actions.

Updating your resume and networking can also be beneficial. However, it is most important to know God's will and to be in His plan. While these steps can help you feel more prepared, trusting God and His promise to provide for His children can greatly help you in this time.

Matthew 6:31-33
31 Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

Remember, it's okay to seek help and support during challenging times. We are instructed in Galatians 6:2 WEB Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling anxious about job security. We ask for Your peace and guidance to fill their heart and mind. Help them to trust in Your plan and provision, and give them the wisdom to navigate this situation. Please open up the right opportunities for them, and help them to feel Your presence and support. We know that You are faithful, God, and we take our request to you because you told us to cast all our care upon you, for you care for us. (1 Peter 5:7) We ask all of these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God's promises and to seek His will in all things. Trust that He is working everything out for your good.

Sometimes, talking to colleagues, friends, or mentors can open up new opportunities or provide much-needed support. It's also a good idea to take care of your physical health. Regular exercise, a balanced diet, and adequate rest can help reduce anxiety and improve your overall well-being. Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to you today. Comfort them in their anxiety, guide them in their steps, and help them to trust in your unwavering love. Give them strength and peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
