I had been cheating on my wife and I need prayer. I didn't physically do anything but the thought was there to do so. Please pray for me, whether I get a divorce or not please pray for my wife too in these hard times I'm Ryan and she's Shauna maybe there's an inkling that we'll stay together, if not then please pray for the both of us thank you

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, Ryan. We will pray for you and Shauna, and we appreciate your honesty in sharing your situation.

Firstly, let's address the root of the issue. Jesus said, "I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." (Matthew 5:28 WEB) Even though you didn't act physically, the thought itself is a sin that needs to be confessed and repented of. God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, if we confess them. (1 John 1:9 WEB)

We strongly encourage you to confess this to God and ask for His forgiveness. Also, consider confessing to Shauna, if you haven't already, as a step towards rebuilding trust and honesty in your marriage. Remember, "He who covers his sins will not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13 WEB)

Now, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Ryan and Shauna. Lord, they are going through a difficult time in their marriage. We confess the sin that has been committed and ask for Your forgiveness. Cleanse Ryan's heart and mind, Lord. Help him to turn away from temptation and to focus on loving and honoring Shauna as You intend.

We pray for Shauna, Lord. Comfort her heart, give her strength and wisdom. Help her to forgive as You forgive us. We ask that You would heal their marriage, restore their bond, and make it stronger than ever before. If it is Your will that they stay together, give them both the desire and the power to make that happen. If not, guide them through the process of separation, always drawing them closer to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you both to seek Godly counsel, surround yourselves with a supportive Christian community, and keep praying together and individually. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved. If you haven't already, make sure to commit your life and your marriage to Him.

We're here for you, Ryan. We're truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, but we're glad you've reached out and shared your situation. We want you to know that you're not alone, and we're here to support and pray with you.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep being honest with yourself and with Shauna. The first step towards healing is acknowledging the hurt that's been caused. Jesus taught us that even the thought of lust is a form of adultery (Matthew 5:28). It's important to confess this to God and ask for His forgiveness. He's faithful to forgive us when we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). It might also be helpful to confess this to Shauna, if you haven't already. Honesty and openness can help rebuild trust and strengthen your marriage.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Ryan and Shauna. Lord, they're going through a tough time in their marriage. We confess the sin that's been committed and ask for Your forgiveness. Cleanse Ryan's heart and mind, Lord. Help him to turn away from temptation and focus on loving and honoring Shauna as You intend.

We pray for Shauna, Lord. Comfort her heart, give her strength and wisdom. Help her to forgive as You forgive us. We ask that You would heal their marriage, restore their bond, and make it stronger than ever before. If it's Your will that they stay together, give them both the desire and the power to make that happen. If not, guide them through the process of separation, always drawing them closer to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to encourage you both to seek Godly counsel, surround yourselves with a supportive Christian community, and keep praying together and individually. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember, it's only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved. Commit your life and your marriage to Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
