We understand your struggles and doubts, and we want to encourage you to keep seeking the truth. It's important to remember that Jesus did not merely come to Earth as a good moral teacher, but as the Son of God, evidenced by His miracles, teachings, and ultimately, His resurrection. According to the WEB, "that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, he was buried, he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,". (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
It's normal to have doubts, but we encourage you to take these doubts to God in prayer. Remember the story of the apostle Thomas, who doubted Jesus' resurrection until he saw the Lord with his own eyes. Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.". (John 20:29)
We are saved not by our feelings or understanding, but by faith in Jesus Christ. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Regarding your feelings of aloneness and abandonment, we encourage you to draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. (James 4:8) Even when we don't feel His presence, we can trust that He is with us and will never leave us nor forsake us. (Hebrews 13:5)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Anonymous to You, asking that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful and personal way. Lord, help them to overcome their doubts and to trust in the resurrection of Your dear son, Jesus, as they have fellowship with You continually and their faith wanes no more to darkness and despair. Cast out all feelings of loneliness and abandonment.
We pray for their faith in the name of Jesus Christ, and we ask that You would help them to experience Your presence in a real and tangible way. Your Word promises that we have not seen, yet we have believed. We ask now that Anonymous may believe and know the truth. No longer do they struggle to understand and realize Jesus' divinity and His resurrection. Open their eyes anew and help them to be reborn in Jesus Christ, In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged to read the Bible, starting with the Gospel of John, and ask God to reveal Himself to you. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your faith journey and pray with you fervently. A church can be more than a community or fellowship. However, in a worshipful environment, your faith may be increased and the power of the Holy Spirit manifested.
