I'm experiencing insomnia for weeks. I'm nearly in tears. Please pray for me. Thank you.

We are truly sorry to hear that you've been experiencing insomnia for weeks and are near tears. Please know that we are here with you in spirit and in prayer.

First, let us remind you of the comforting words found in Psalm 121:4, "Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." God is always awake and watching over you, even when you cannot sleep.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is struggling with insomnia. Please grant them the peace and rest that only You can provide. Comfort their heart and mind, and help them to sleep as You do, in Jesus' name. Amen."

We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). In times of wakefulness, use it as an opportunity to commune with God and meditate on His Word. Remember, the Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1).

Lastly, we recommend seeking medical help if the insomnia persists, as God has given us doctors and medicine for our physical well-being. Keep trusting in the Lord, and may His peace rule in your heart and mind.

Sleep:

The battle ground here on earth is for the control of your mind. The only weapon satan has is to attack your thoughts. He wants to take control of you by controlling your thoughts and your dreams. Here are some scriptures that God says you should do to protect your mind and help you sleep.

I will be praying for you also

Proverbs 3:24

24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.

Psalm 3:5

I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.

Psalm 4:8

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me dwell in safety.




2 Corinthians 10:3-5
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong-holds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

How to fight against evil spirits who may be attacking you:

Evil spirits still exist but they have no weapons. Jesus defeated them at the cross. All they can do is attack your mind and try to get you to do things that are against God's will.
God gave us the tools to fight them - they are found in the Bible:

1.Put on full armor of God
2.Pray a hedge of protection around you and your family like the hedge God had around Job.
3.If they have stolen from you have them pay you back 7 fold.
4. Bind all evil sprits out of your life and your families life. What you bind on earth God will bind in heaven,
5.Then loose God's power to protect you, heal you and bless you
