I'm emotional and unhappy

Beloved of All
I feel so emotional and unhappy. No one listens to me at home or work. Then things blow up and I end up being right. It's only because I care so much about others, helping and keeping everyone safe. At work I told them a month and a half ago my projections but people said everything is fine. Then now there's a mad rush to fix things. I am praying for God's grace, holy boldness and favor in my life.

We understand that you're feeling emotional and unhappy, and it's important to remember that God cares about every detail of your life. It's disheartening when you feel unheard, but remember the words of Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Firstly, it's commendable that you want to help others and keep everyone safe. However, it's crucial to remember that your well-being is also important. God wants us to care for others, but not at the expense of our own peace and joy. As it is written in Matthew 22:39, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

Regarding your situation at work, it's frustrating when others don't listen to your insights. Remember the words of 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."

In your prayer, you mentioned seeking God's grace, holy boldness, and favor. This is wonderful, but let's remember the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only the name of Jesus Christ that we are saved by. If you have not had the opportunity to make Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour, we encourage you to consider this.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you, lifting up our sister/brother in need of your comfort and guidance. Lord, you know the struggles and frustrations they are facing. Please grant them your peace and reassure them of your presence.

Father, we ask for your grace, holy boldness, and favor to be upon them. Help them to communicate effectively and to be heard by those around them. Give them the strength to endure and the wisdom to know when to rest in You.

We pray that they will find joy and happiness in you, Lord. Help them to remember that you are always listening and that you care deeply for them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, feeling the weight of your emotions and the frustration of not being heard. It's like you're carrying a heavy backpack, and it's okay to feel tired. Remember, even Jesus felt overwhelmed at times, and He took time to rest and pray (Mark 6:31).

We want you to know that God sees you, and He cares about your feelings. He's not surprised by your emotions or the challenges you're facing. As it's written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that He's working in your life, even when it's hard to see.

We admire your dedication to helping others, but remember, you can't pour from an empty cup. It's crucial to take care of yourself too. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Maybe it's time to take a moment, breathe, and let Him fill you up again.

At work, it's tough when others don't value your insights. But remember, your worth isn't determined by their recognition. You're doing your best, and that's what matters. As it's written in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters... It is the Lord Christ you are serving."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our friend in need of Your comfort and guidance. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing. Please wrap them in Your peace and remind them of Your constant presence.

Father, we ask for Your grace to be upon them, helping them to communicate effectively and to be heard. Give them the strength to endure and the wisdom to know when to rest in You.

Help them to find joy and happiness in You, Lord. Remind them that You are always listening and that You care deeply for them.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
