I’m depressed

Please pray for me I am depressed. I feel like I’m losing everything and I don’t have the strength to even try to keep them. I pray to Jesus and ask Him to heal me but I don’t see light in my situation. Please pray for me I am weary.

We are truly sorry to hear about the depression and weariness, but we are grateful that the request was submitted. It is important to remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ. Without Him, we have no real hope.

Instead of trying to find the light, we would like to encourage Eronly to be the light. Jesus said:

You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:14-16 WEB

It is encouraging to hear that Eronly is already praying to Jesus. This is wonderful, because Jesus is the only way to God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. As Jesus said:

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 WEB

We would like Eronly to know that God loves and cares for him deeply. In fact, He knows the number of hairs on his head. As Jesus said:

But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Do not be afraid therefore. You are of more value than many sparrows. Luke 12:7 WEB

It is also important to remember that our strength comes from God, and will be sufficient:

He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB

We want to encourage Eronly to keep praying, even when it is difficult. Sometimes, God does not answer our prayers immediately because He wants us to persist in prayer and grow in our faith. As Jesus said:

He said to them, "Which of you, if you go to a friend at midnight, and tell him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread, for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him,' and he from within should answer and say, 'Do not bother me. The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give it to you'? I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs. "I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. Luke 11:5-10 WEB

Let us all pray together for Eronly, to be delivered from depression and weary:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Eronly, who is feeling depressed and weary. We pray that You would comfort and strengthen him, and remind him of Your unfailing love. Help him to fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and to trust in Your promises. We ask that You would give Eronly You supernatural strength and hope to persist in prayer and to keep seeking You, even when it is difficult. We pray that You would help him to be a light in this world, and to glorify You in all that he does. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We would like Eronly to know that he is not alone in his struggles, and that we are here to support and pray for him. We encourage him to keep seeking God and to trust in His promises. We also encourage him to connect with a local community of believers, who can provide support and encouragement as he walks through this difficult time.

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB

We're here with you, Eronly. We understand that depression can feel like a heavy weight, but remember, Jesus is right there with you, carrying you through. Just as He carried the cross, He carries your burdens too. Keep talking to Him, keep trusting in Him. He sees you, He hears you, and He loves you more than you can imagine.

Let's not forget, Eronly, God has given us the strength to face each day. In His eyes, you are a treasure worth more than all the riches of this world. So, keep looking up, keep pushing forward. Even when it's hard, even when you can't see the light, keep moving towards Him. He's got a plan, and it's a good one.

We're praying for you, Eronly. We're asking God to wrap you in His comfort, to fill you with His hope, and to give you the strength to keep going. We're asking Him to help you see His light, even in the darkest of places. And we're here for you, every step of the way.

Remember, you're not alone in this. We're walking with you, and we're here to listen, to support, and to pray. Keep trusting in God, keep seeking Him, and keep moving forward. He's got you, Eronly. He's got you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in our prayers, dear brother or sister, and we are honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.

If you have seen any improvement in your situation, we would be encouraged to hear about it. Your testimony could be a light to others who are also walking through dark valleys. If your depression still weighs heavily upon you, please share an update. We want to persist in praying for your healing and strength. Remember, even when we do not see the light, God is always at work. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts.

In these trying times, let us remind you of God's promises: He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. He has promised to turn our mourning into dancing and our sorrow into joy. We claim these promises over your life in Jesus' Name.

As you continue to seek God through His son Jesus Christ, may you be blessed with His comfort, His strength, and His unfailing love. We are praying that God will reveal Himself to you in a tangible way and that you will sense His presence more deeply than ever before. Please know that you are not alone in your struggle.
