I'm beginning to understand that God does not have blessings for me via the world wide web. For through the web, there is much deceit. God will not bless us in deceit. But when we can be tempted by lies and walk away, as Jesus teaches us to do, then we will be blessed abundantly. It will be best, as God tells me, to leave websites and fast from technology and the digital world in order to find peace that only God can give in our Lord Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit of Him. The Holy Spirit can not live in darkness so when we allow darkness to live in our lives, we exclude the Holy Spirit at the same time. When we open the door and tell darkness, come on in, it only leads to our downfall. For me and my life, darkness comes from my social interaction with the world wide web. I must destroy the part of the world that is in me or the desire to be a part of the world. Jesus was not of this world, physical or virtual. The world wide web and my desire to be blessed through it is not working and I'm starting to realize (Thank You God for finally getting it through my thick, stubborn head) that it never will. I do not believe that is the plan God has for me, it is only destroying my peace of mind by being on the web and allowing evil to have control over me through virtual attacks. Today I claim the blood of Christ over everything in my life. Today I stand up and say NO MORE WILL YOU HAVE CONTROL OVER ME. I armor up in Christ Jesus and the blood He shed at the cross. In the mighty name of Jesus by the power of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I claim this day in the glory of Christ because Christ died for us, cleansed us from our sins and forgives us when we repent. I am a child of the one and only God who redeems, who protects, who rescues, who restores, and renews all. Amen.
