Hirnim, we understand that you're facing a significant struggle with a gambling problem and various negative spiritual influences. We're here to pray and provide biblical counsel to help you overcome these challenges in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the spirits of gambling, borrowing, impatience, doubt, and panic at work in your life. This awareness is the first step towards victory. The Bible tells us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
We must address the gambling issue from a biblical perspective. The Bible warns against the love of money and get-rich-quick schemes, which can lead us away from God's purposes for our lives. "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10, WEB). Gambling often exploits the poor and can lead to addiction, debt, and despair. We urge you to flee from this temptation and trust God to provide for your needs.
