I’m asking for prayer for my marriage. Ive had multiple partners in my life but have now married for 7 years now. My husband has a hard time with my past and recently met someone I’ve been with. Although I was not broght up in the conversation, nor was the previous person aware, my husband has decided he no longer wants to be with me. He says he can’t see past my past anymore. He refused any counseling but i so don’t want my marriage to be over. I’m completely beside myself.

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Cowlior. Lord, she is hurting and her marriage is in trouble. We ask for Your divine intervention, that You would soften her husband's heart and help him to see her through Your eyes, not her past. Please bring healing, forgiveness, and restoration to their marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In the midst of this storm, hold onto God's promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." God will make a way, dear sister.

However, we must also address the issues in your request. The Bible is clear about sexual immorality. 1 Corinthians 6:18 (WEB) says, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Your past actions may have consequences, but remember, God's forgiveness is greater. Turn to Him, repent, and He will cleanse you.

Moreover, your husband is struggling to see past your history. It's important to respect his feelings, but also encourage him to seek God's perspective. Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) tells us to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God also in Christ forgave you."

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus. Remember, it's only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
