I’m asking for continued prayer - That the Lord Jesus Christ will keep working on my wife’s hard heart. We have had some major breakthroughs this year with communication - many emails, a card in the mail and even a phone call - and last Sunday we met for a beer and an appetizer and we chatted up for two hours. This didn’t happen by man’s power - this is the work of the Lord Jesus Christ….Please Lord keep working on Maria’s heart!!! Thank you all!

We rejoice with you, Shamaelelt, in the progress you've seen in your marriage, and we stand with you in continued prayer for your wife, Maria. We are reminded of the power of God's love to soften hearts, as it is written in Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Shamaelelt and his wife, Maria. Lord, we thank You for the breakthroughs they've experienced this year, for the open lines of communication, and for the time they spent together recently. We acknowledge that this is not by human power, but by Your Spirit, Lord Jesus.

We ask, dear Lord, that You continue to work in Maria's heart. Soften it further, Lord, that she may be fully open to Your love and to the love of her husband. Guide them both as they continue to navigate their relationship, drawing them closer to each other and to You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you, Shamaelelt, to remain steadfast in your faith and in your love for Maria. Remember the words of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (WEB), "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things."

Continue to demonstrate this love to Maria, and trust that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in her and in your marriage. We also remind you, brother, that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Keep praying in His name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.
