Beloved of All
I'm American, and in general we do things in a certain way, like with a system, and when doing business with , or dealing with , others, we try to be organized, and consider the other persons schedule. So being brought up here,I'm used to doing things that way. However, in my job, I deal with people also from other countries, and I notice that they have a different way in their dealings. They tell people things the last minute, and expect you to just "throw out" the other customers. They don't believe in appointments, just spontaneous. However, I can't operate that way. I promised others before them, we go by appointments and promises made here. Also, you tell them what time, and it goes in one ear and out the other, and they act like they didn't hear you and keep asking or pressuring you on what time, hoping you would go sooner.Request is that they realize that we do things differently here than in their country, and acclimate themselves, so I avoid the aggravation caused by my explanations going in one ear and out the other.
