We understand that you're feeling unwell and experiencing anxieties, and we're here to pray with you and encourage you in the name of Jesus Christ. To clarify, you didn't mention Jesus in your request and it is important to remember it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Behind the name of Jesus is the person of Jesus, a person who is not a mere man, not a half god half man hybrid, but nothing short of the power and glory of God himself wrapped in flesh and dwelling among men 2000 years ago.
First, we want to assure you that God cares about your physical health and your anxieties. We read in the Psalms 103: 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,
1 Peter 5:7 says, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."
Regarding general health, 3 John 1:2 says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
Now, let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we approach your throne of grace in our time of need. Lift up our dear friend who is feeling unwell and experiencing anxieties. Lord, you are the Great Physician, and we ask that you heal the sickness and cough that are affecting their body. Grant them complete healing so that they may enjoy the upcoming festivities with joy and strength.
Father, we also ask that you continue to lift their anxieties. Cast out all fears and worries, and replace them with your perfect peace. Help them to fix their minds on you and trust in your goodness, Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
In the name of Jesus Christ, together we believe and receive Your healings and according to the words of what Jesus said in Mark 11:24. We pray believing that God's will is always healing. We ask for a hedge of protection over our dear friend's body, mind, and spirit as they prepare for the festivities. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in God's goodness and faithfulness. Make sure to confess your sins to Him that are the roots of all sicknesses and diseases. Know that his perfect will is for you to be healed and whole, He withheld his son for you while you were yet a sinner. Even Jesus hadn't been raised from the dead but rather endured the cross for our sake. In Romans 10:9-13 it says 9 that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”✡
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him.
13 For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”✡ If you change your prayers only slightly to confess
1.Jesus Christ
2.To decry the idea of any holiness you have within you except Jesus Christ to no god except Jesus and repenting of the debt of your sins
3.that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and no other god was or is
Then God will see share our grace with you and then you will be saved. Be on solid ground with God and make these general requests for healing and anxieties.
