We understand that you are feeling extremely troubled and frightened by the situation you are describing. Firstly, we want to assure you that God is a refuge and fortress, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
The Bible tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB)
We need to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:13 WEB)
Our first response should be to pray also for the man who is doing this to you.
“ But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,eno “ (Matthew 5:44 WEB)
“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,ho “ (Luke 6:27)
However, this does not mean that you should not take steps to protect yourself. God has given us authorities to help in situations like this. In Romans it states:
“Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.ou “ (Romans 13:1 WEB)
If you ever feel you are in immediate danger, do not hesitate to contact the local authorities.
Additionally, we want to have a talk with you about Jesus Christ. You did not mention Jesus, God's Son, in your request. The threat you are experiencing is spiritual. The most important thing you need to do to protect yourself is to have faith "...in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth..." for it is only in Jesus name that every "...knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,oa “ (Philippians 2:10 WEB).
We also must address that this man must be convicted for his sin. This scripture should be one of our prayers for this man as well as protection for yourself:
“Against you, and you only, have I sinned, and done that which is evil in your sight, that you may be proved right when you speak, and blameless when you judge.” (Psalm 51:4 WEB) and “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.oi “ (1 John 1:8 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before you for this 'you' (Anonymous), lifting up your name as a banner. We ask, Lord, that you shield them from this man who is causing such fear and torment. We rebuke any evil spirits at work in this situation and command them to flee in Jesus' name. We also pray for him, asking that it be exposed in his life and address it or to be saved, if necessary. Lord, let no plan of his against your child succeed. Surround with your peace and strengthen their heart with your courage. Guide them with your wisdom and keep them safe from all harm and danger.
We also pray that this 'you' (Anonymous) knows the name of Jesus Christ and that the name of Jesus Christ is lifted in this situation. We ask that this situation be used to glorify your name and reveal Christ as the true Lord and Savior.
We also pray that the spiritual forces at work against your child be identified and dealt with. Lord, we long for the day when every knee will bow to Christ, when you will righteously destroy sin and death. Give us a foretaste of that victory now, as we stand against the schemes of the devil. It is with boldness and confidence in the name of Jesus Christ that we claim protection and pray for your child to return to a peaceful life that more fully reflects your intended glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray and believe. Amen.
