We are glad to hear that you are seeking forgiveness from the Lord. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).
Let us pray together for your forgiveness and restoration. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your forgiveness and mercy upon the one who has requested it. You are a loving and compassionate God, always ready to forgive those who come to You with a repentant heart. We ask that You wash away their sins and make them as far from them as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12). Help them to turn away from their sins and to walk in the path of righteousness, knowing that You are always there to guide and support them.
Let us encourage you to live a life of holiness, obeying God's commandments, and striving to please Him in all that you do. As it is written, "But now having been freed from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit of sanctification, and the result of eternal life" (Romans 6:22).
Remember, that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As the Bible says, "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). If you have not already done so, confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
We are here to support you in your walk with Christ and applaud you for your desire for forgiveness. We know that this step is only the start of your spiritual journey and to know the love of Jesus Christ in your life. Continue to draw near to God, knowing He will draw near through you (James 4:8). Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
