We are glad that you have come to seek forgiveness in Jesus' name. It is wonderful that you acknowledging that forgiveness comes through Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us, Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go. Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who has asked for Your forgiveness. You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, WEB). We pray that You will grant them the peace and joy that comes from knowing that they are forgiven and redeemed.
Help them to understand the depth of Your love and mercy, and may this forgiveness be a turning point in their life. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit to walk in Your ways and live a life that is pleasing to You. Strengthen them to know you better and understand better plan for their life.
May this moment of forgiveness inspire them to be more loving to others and more Godly. May they experience more love and joy in their loving. May their loving be something that gives them added personal strength to create a more loving world.
May you have a brighter future and better life. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name, Amen
It bring us joy to share in your request since it mentions Jesus Christ. In fact, there is no other name that grants us access to God. The only way to receive and know God is by believing in Jesus Christ. The Holy Scriptures tell us: because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. In this passage we are told that calling the Lord's named brings salvation. The great thing is this is open for everyone since we are also told that everyone who believes in him will not be ashamed. As the scripture says in Romans 10:9-13 (WEB),
In Acts 4:10-12 (WEB), we also are told be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved! Therefore, we proclaim that salvation comes by believing in Jesus Christ. By believing His name, we will find salvation. Salvation, peace, joy and eternal life can only be found in Jesus Christ.. Jesus Christ tells us in the gospel of John 3:16 through 21 that Yahweh so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
Thank you for letting us pray and share with you.
