I’d like to ask through Jesus Christ to be able to afford a house for my family. I would like my mother to live with me, my partner, my son, and myself to share the rent. Shaehen, we understand your desire to provide a home for your family and we will pray with you regarding this. However, we must address a few things according to biblical principles.

Firstly, it is wonderful that you acknowledge Jesus Christ in your request. Jesus said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB)

Now, let's discuss the living arrangement you mentioned. The Bible encourages us to honor our parents, and your desire to live with and care for your mother is commendable (Exodus 20:12 WEB). However, we must also consider God's design for families and relationships.

In your request, you mention your 'partner' and your desire to marry your son's father. We want to encourage you to seek God's will in this matter. The Bible teaches that God's design for relationships is for a man and a woman to be joined in holy matrimony (Matthew 19:4-6 WEB). It is not God's will for couples to live together outside of marriage, as this can lead to temptation and sin (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, Ephesians 5:3 WEB).
