We are truly sorry to hear about the prolonged suffering of Merline Christabell Amanaa due to IBS. Let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His healing and comfort.
First, it must be addressed that there is no mention of Jesus Christ in the request. It is only by His name that we have access to God and no other name by which we can be saved. We should also mention that the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ and confessing Him as your Lord and Savior. It is extremely important and to word how the request was given does not address this most important issue. It is not mentioned if Merline is a Christian, and if so asked the requestor to pray to Jesus Christ in faith directly. The forgiveness of sins is an integral and important part of receiving healing from Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9: because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
The second matter to address is that the request is a bland demand for prayer. We should approach God humbly in repentance. The request is from Moltolani. There is no message of faith, repentance, or even humility. It is written like a personal demand. This must be addressed because God resist the proud and only hears the prayer of the righteous. 2 Chronicles 7:14: if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
First, let us ask for forgiveness for any sins we may know and believe that God can heal Merline. Now, let us pray together for faith and mercy.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ and ask for mercy and healing. We ask for the ability to faithfully pray and to ask you for our daily bread and endurance as we run the race of life.
Father, we lift up Merline Christabell Amanaa to you, asking for Your healing touch upon her body. You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that is beyond Your power to heal. We pray that You will ease her discomfort and restore her digestive health.
We also pray for her spiritual well-being, that she may know you and be able to confess Jesus as her Lord and Savior. The restoration of her body and faith will revive her strength to endure the race of life in righteousness.
Lord, we also pray for Moltolani. We ask for him humility, wisdom, and understanding of how to go about fasting, praying, and seeking your face, Lord. We ask that he will gain from this experience and develop a deeper walk in faith with you and learn how to intercede for others in prayer. We pray for your children to understand and gain wisdom from His Word.
Help Merline and her loved ones to remain patient and steadfast in faith, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty. In Jesus Christ our Lord, faithfully we pray for forgiveness and guidance.
