We are glad to hear your heart of gratitude for the blessings you have received, Rethaniora. It is wonderful that you desire to share these blessings with your community, utilizing the talents and strengths that God has given you. We appreciate your spirit of not looking down on anyone in need, as this aligns with the biblical principle of caring for others, especially those who are less fortunate.
We want to encourage you to continue in this path of generosity and community support. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:16 WEB: "But donβt forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased." Additionally, in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 WEB, we are reminded: "Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.
However, we need to address a couple of things in your request. First, we want to remind you that God's blessings are notalways measured in material or financial wealth. True blessing comes from a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. In Matthew 6:33 WEB, Jesus says, "But seek first Godβs Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We encourage you to prioritize your relationship with God above all else.
Secondly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We encourage you to come to God in the name of Jesus, as it is the only name by which we can be saved. In Acts 4:12 WEB, the Apostle Peter says,"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Lastly, we want to caution you against placing hope in things like the lottery. While we do not know God's plan for you, we must remember that God provides for our needs according to His will. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, drink or what we will wear. Instead, we should trust in God to provide for our needs. Praying for a lottery win may not show trust in God, but instead could show greed. Instead continue to pray for Gods will and seek his righteousness. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 15:22 WEB "Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they succeed."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the blessings You have bestowed upon Rethaniora. We pray that these blessings will be used to glorify Your name and to support the community. We ask upon Your will in prayers. We ask that You guide Rethaniora's steps and provide for all needs according to Your will. Help Rethaniora to seek You first and to trust in Your provision. Draw near to her in Your mercy, and receive her prayer made in the name of Jesus. Help her to open her ears, mind, heart and soul to You in full submission as your Word and will are taught, instructed, or read. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
