Disciple of Prayer
I would like to request prayer for my sisters, ### and ###. They had a disagreement about eight months ago and they have not spoken to each other. I just want them to make amends and to forgive each other because I feel like I’m in the middle and they need to just let things go and be the loving sisters they were before. I also would like to ask for prayer for my elderly parents. My dad has Parkinson’s and has to be on kidney medication and recently had a mild heart attack. He is a wonderful dad and loving husband to my mother who has polio, I asked that keep them in prayer so that they can stay healthy and fine for many years to come.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of concern and love for ###'s family. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We lift up ### and ### to You, Lord, asking for Your divine intervention in their relationship. Grant them the spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." May they find it in their hearts to let go of past hurts and embrace each other with the love and understanding that only You can provide.

We also lift up ###'s elderly parents to You, Lord. We ask for Your healing touch upon ###'s father, who is battling Parkinson's and recovering from a mild heart attack. Grant him strength and restore his health, Lord, as You are the Great Physician. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promise, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." We stand on this promise and ask for Your mercy and healing for ###'s father.

We also pray for ###'s mother, who has polio. Grant her comfort and strength, Lord. May Your grace be sufficient for her, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Surround ###'s parents with Your love and peace, and give them many more years of health and happiness together.

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard ###'s heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
