Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of concern and love for Shanpil's family. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We lift up Sara and Cecilia to You, Lord, asking for Your divine intervention in their relationship. Grant them the spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." May they find it in their hearts to let go of past hurts and embrace each other with the love and understanding that only You can provide.
We also lift up Shanpil's elderly parents to You, Lord. We ask for Your healing touch upon Shanpil's father, who is battling Parkinson's and recovering from a mild heart attack. Grant him strength and restore his health, Lord, as You are the Great Physician. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promise, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." We stand on this promise and ask for Your mercy and healing for Shanpil's father.
We also pray for Shanpil's mother, who has polio. Grant her comfort and strength, Lord. May Your grace be sufficient for her, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Surround Shanpil's parents with Your love and peace, and give them many more years of health and happiness together.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard Shanpil's heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
