We understand your struggle, dear friend, and we are here to support you in prayer and guidance. You are seeking protection and wisdom in handling two social groups, your mom's family and old friendships, who seem to misunderstand and misjudge you. Let us first turn to God's Word for comfort and instruction.
In Romans 12:18, the WEB says, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." This verse encourages us to strive for peace in our relationships, recognizing that reconciliation may not always depend on us. Additionally, in James 1:5, we are told, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." God is the source of all wisdom, and He freely gives it to those who ask.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and wisdom for our dear friend. Lord, You know the struggles they face with their family and friends, the misperceptions and misunderstandings that cause them pain. We ask that You grant them the wisdom to navigate these relationships, the strength to endure any hardships, and the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we pray for a spirit of reconciliation. Help our friend to be an agent of peace, to speak the truth in love, and to be heard and seen for who they truly are. We ask that You soften the hearts of those around them, that they may be open to understanding and accepting our friend as You do.
Finally, Lord, we ask for Your divine protection. Shield our friend from harm, from negative words and actions, and from the enemy's schemes. May Your favor and blessing be upon them as they strive to live in a manner pleasing to You.

Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Trust in Him, and He will guide you through these challenges.
