We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life, your loved ones, and your recently started relationship. We appreciate that you have come to God as your Father and have invoked the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God and it is only by the name of Jesus we can be saved.
First, let us address your recently started relationship. We pray that this relationship is rooted in God's love and is for the purposes that align with His will. God's design for relationships is clear in scripture. Although this verse is long, let us share 1 Corinthians 7:1-9 WEB:
Now concerning the things about which you wrote to me: it is good for a man not to touch a woman.
But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
Let the husband render to his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.
The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife.
Don’t deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan may not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
But this I say by way of concession, not by way of commandment.
Yet I wish that all men were like me. However each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.
But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am.
But if they don’t have self-control, let them marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn.
We need to be clear that this scripture means that sex before or outside marriage is forbidden and is called fornication, but it is still forgivable if stopped and sincerely repented. Our bodies are not our own but our spouse. We are further called to be married to another Christian believer, and although it is good to remain unmarried, it is better to marry than have uncontrolled lust. We must allow God to lead us in our relationships. Therefore, we pray that this relationship is one of courtship, where you both are seeking God's will and are committed to purity and holiness. We pray that if it is God's will, this courtship will blossom into a blessed marriage, and that He will guide your steps as you seek His face.
Concerning long life and good health, we pray in agreement with you. May God grant you, your daughter, and your mother long life and good health in Jesus' name. We remember the words of the Apostle John in 3 John 1:2 WEB: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. We trust that as your soul prospers in your walk with Christ, your health will also be blessed.
Regarding your business and work, we pray that God will give you wisdom and favor. May He bless the work of your hands and grant you success. Remember the words of Colossians 3:23 WEB: 23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ. We pray that your business will have a positive impact and bring glory to God's name.
As you commit your entire being to God, we stand with you. May His will be done in your life, and may you walk in His blessings and promises.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We ask You to guide our sister in every aspect of her life.
Lord, we lift up her recently started relationship to You. May Your will be done. We ask You to bless this relationship and guide them in purity and holiness. Help her to seek Your will and grow in her walk with You.
Father, we pray for long life and good health for our sister, her daughter, and her mother. Touch their bodies and heal any infirmities. May they prosper as their souls prosper.
Lord, bless our sister's business and work. Grant her wisdom, favor, and success. May her work bring glory to Your name and have a positive impact.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
