1 Corinthians 4:19-20 (KJV)
19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.
20 For the kingdom of God
is not in word, but in power.
Romans 2:4 (KJV)
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Why would the person change their viewpoint without reason or cause? The major community of Christiandom walks through life with a lot of words, but never shows any power. How did Jesus show power? Through miracles, signs, and wonders. Jesus has given believers the same power., but few people walk in it. Every religion has a "book", and prayer.
It is time to "show" who and where the power is.
In the name of Jesus, I bless you with the life of God.
Thank you for this! You just reminded me that there actually *was* a miracle that took place with a man who works under Michael.
This young man (in his 30s, father of two) was hospitalized and had a 5% chance of living. He made it! I just had a feeling God would pull him through even with the massive organ failure. His wife panicked (understandably) but I fel that God was going to bring him back.
I think the docs were afraid to use the "m" word (miracle) but many have recognized that it was something out of the ordinary.
Even the Israeli doctor they flew in was impressed.
He is no longer walking with a cane, it's taken a year of therapy but he is in perfect shape now.
We don't get to witness too many miracles in our lifetimes but perhaps God is reminding me (through You) that I need to keep praying for more "signs" to these people that God loves them and wants to save all of them.
I am no Moses! I'm just someone who cares and prays for these people. <3
