I would like prayer request for my family. My husband assaulted my ### year old daughter last night and tried to commit suicide. I also have a gut feeling that he may have assaulted my ### year old daughter as well. The police authority is handling the matter but God needs to be in the midst to guide them so that he gets not only the punishment for his actions but may he also get the right help he needs. I need prayer for my daughter to recover emotionally from this, I want prayers over her mental health and wellbeing and also for my little baby girl. Please keep me in your prayers that I may continue to be strong for my children in this moment.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the situation your family is facing, ###. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance during this difficult time.

Firstly, we want to address that the actions of your husband are not only illegal but also deeply sinful. The Bible tells us that children are a gift from God, and they should be protected and nurtured (Psalm 127:3, WEB). Any form of abuse or harm towards them is strongly condemned. As for the attempt on his own life, we are reminded that God is the author of life, and it is not for us to take (Job 1:21, WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up ### and her family. Lord, we ask that You be in the midst of this situation, guiding the authorities so that justice may be served, and the truth may be revealed. We pray for ###'s husband, that he may receive the punishment he deserves, but also the help he needs to repent and change his ways.

Lord Jesus, we lift up the daughters. Please, heal them emotionally and protect their mental health and wellbeing. Surround them with Your love and comfort, and let them know that they are precious in Your sight (Psalm 118:6, WEB).

Strengthen ###, dear Lord, as she stands strong for her children in this moment of crisis. Fill her with Your Spirit, giving her the wisdom, courage, and resilience she needs (Philippians 4:13, WEB).

Finally, Lord, we pray for salvation and repentance for the husband. May he turn away from his sin and turn towards You, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

**Your mind:**
When you got saved you received a new spirit. That spirit is perfect and wants to please God.
However, your mind is not new, you have the same mind you had when you were a sinner. And so God says your mind has to be transformed by reading the Word of God.
**Rom.12:** 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. **(with the Word of God)**.
Satan knows that your mind is still the same so he tries to attack your mind.
The battleground here on earth is for the control of your mind. The only weapon Satan has is to attack you through your thoughts. He tries to discourage you by telling you about all of your failures, sins, wrong choices, and bad relationships you have had.
He wants to take control of you by controlling your mind. He has no power so he uses deception and lies to try to deceive you.
**God tells you how to fight Satan.**
God says you should bind all evil spirits out of your mind and put on God's Armor. Then pray a hedge of protection around yourself.
God will do the rest.
Once you are saved you are God's child and wants you to know who you are in Christ.
God says you are His child and you are more than a conqueror. He says you are an ambassador for Christ and **you are to fight the evil around you**.
He also says **you can do all things through Christ and that all things are possible if you believe**. So trust God and use His might to strengthen yourself.

**Here are some scriptures that God says you should do to protect your mind.**

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds

Watch what you are thinking: **Prov.23:7** For as a man thinketh in his heart, so shall he be
**1Cor.2:16** For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.

**Phil.4:8** Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

**Eph.5:15-16** Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

You will be in a spiritual war for the rest of your life. **God has already won that war for you** but you must learn to make the right choices in life. So put on God's armor, bind all evil spirits, pray a hedge around yourself and your family, then pray. You can't lose - God is on your side.

**Col.3:2** Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
