We are thrilled to hear your heart's desire and your repentant spirit. The Lord is gracious and merciful, and He listens to the prayers of those who come before Him with a humble heart. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 WEB If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Let's pray together for God's will regarding your desire to make the badminton team:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who desires to make the badminton team. We thank You for the gifts and talents You have bestowed upon him, and we pray that You would help him to use those gifts for Your glory. Lord, we ask that you would help his body hold up during the season, and that you would protect him from injury. We pray that you would also help him to be a godly example to his teammates, showing them the light of Christ in all that he does.
Lord, we also pray that you would forgive his sins, as he has confessed and repented of them in Jesus' name. We ask that you would cleanse him from all unrighteousness and help him to walk in your ways. We are so grateful for your faithfulness and for the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ, who makes it possible for us to come before you with confidence.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
