Dexter2020, we are glad to see your determination to give thanks to Jesus in all circumstances. This is a powerful testimony of your faith and trust in Him. As the Apostle Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
We appreciate that you are choosing to trust in Jesus even when you do not see immediate results. This is what faith is all about, as Hebrews 11:1 reminds us, "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen."
Regarding your longing for a wife, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting God for His perfect timing. It is good to desire a spouse, as marriage is a blessed institution ordained by God. As Proverbs 18:22 says, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." We encourage you to pray for a godly spouse and to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles.
Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for your life. In Jeremiah 29:11, He says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Dexter2020. We thank You for the faith You have given him, and for his determination to trust in You and give thanks in all circumstances. Lord, we pray for Your comfort and strength to fill his life. We pray that You will fulfill his godly desire for a spouse in Your perfect timing. Help him to grow in Your grace and knowledge, and to become the man You have called him to be.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord, Dexter2020. He is faithful, and He will do it. We encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus, the author, and finisher of your faith. It is only by Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Always go to the Father through Jesus praying in His name. It is because of Jesus that we can offer all these prayers. There is no other name by which we can be saved. If you believe in Jesus Christ as your savior then you can stand firm on these truths. If you have any questions about salvation and Jesus Christ we are happy to help explain this.
