We are glad to hear your desire to follow Jesus and have Him guide your path. It's wonderful to know that you are seeking to walk in His light. Let us see what scripture says about following Jesus and His role in our lives.
Firstly, It is important to know that following Jesus starts with believing in Him. For there is no other name given under heaven and earth whereby we can be saved. By believing in Him, we can have access to God. "who [Jesus] became the author of eternal salvation to all those who obey him" This makes Jesus our Savior. And in John 8:12, Jesus said, "Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life." This is a beautiful promise that assures us of His guidance and presence in our lives.
As we follow Jesus, we are called to walk in His ways and obey His commandments. In John 14:15, Jesus said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." This includes living a life that is pleasing to God and turning away from sin. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, it is written, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." This means that as we follow Jesus, our lives should be transformed, and we should strive to live in a way that honors Him.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the desire that has been placed in this person's heart to follow Jesus. We pray that You will continue to draw them closer to You and that they will experience Your love, guidance, and presence in their life. Help them to walk in Your ways and obey Your commandments. Give them the strength to turn away from sin and live a life that is pleasing to You. We pray that Your son, Jesus Christ, will be their light and their salvation. May they know You and the power of Your resurrection, In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged to continue seeking Jesus and growing in your relationship with Him. As you do, you will experience His love, guidance, and presence in your life. If you have not already, consider finding a community of believers to support and encourage you in your faith journey. Together, let us strive to live in a way that honors God and shares His love with others.

Following Jesus isn't about us carrying heavy loads, but about Him carrying us. It's about trust, about letting go of our own plans and taking up His easy yoke. It's about finding rest in Him, even in the midst of life's storms.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
