Quinten
Beloved Servant
I was reading my friend, Ashely Payne’s Facebook the way she wrote on her status how she felt right now. She said, “ For the past 3 to 4 days I been in excruciating pain. I feel like I’m having a baby and I hate when the pain get that bad. I just might be driving to Durham tonight…. This where it gets tiring bc with my transplant team in Durham I can only go to Duke hospital. If I go to another hospital and a liver becomes available I can’t receive it bc I’m admitted into another hospital. Last time I went to another hospital (Baptist, only bc I didn’t have the energy to drive to Durham) they kept denying my transfer to Duke and refused to give me a blood transfusion. I had to beg them to discharge me. Bc by law I can’t deny care anywhere bc I’m on the transplant list. “ My quality of life Suuuuucckkss!” .”
