Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister who has endured such deep pain and trauma. Lord, You see her heart and the heavy burden she carries from the past. We ask for Your divine healing and comfort to surround her. Your Word says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We pray that she feels Your closeness and finds solace in Your presence.
Father, we ask for the strength and courage she needs to move forward. Help her to release the anger and bitterness that have taken root in her heart. In Ephesians 4:31-32, You call us to "get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Lord, grant her the grace to forgive, not for the sake of the wrongdoer, but for her own peace and healing.
We also pray for justice and truth to prevail. If it is Your will, let her story be a beacon of light that exposes darkness and brings about change. Guide her as she writes her book, and let it be a tool for healing and awareness.
Lord, we ask for Your protection over her mind and heart. Heal her from PTSD and any other emotional scars. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind.
We trust in Your unfailing love and believe that You have a plan for her life, a plan to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future . Help her to walk in the freedom and abundant life that You have promised.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
