I wanted to say hi to every one and give word of thanks for all the prayers and encouragement. I pray for blessing to all of you and everyone here. Please continue to pray for my co-worker Jo-Jo, who is fighting cancer that went to his brain. He recently got an infection and has been suffering from the cancer, while in the hospital these last few weeks. Pray for him to re-gain his strength, keep fighting, and be successful with his treatments. Elsa the other co-worker is doing well and re-covered from the shingles. Thanks for all your prayers. We've still had on-going problems at my other job. The boss has calmed down somewhat, but I am still worried for her being involved with all these young kids and their actions. She recently confided in me that she has some health issues and that they found a lump on her head. She has to do some medical tests to see what is happening. Please do pray for her health. I also ask that you pray for this store, where the above manager operates. We are in a very unsafe area and open 24 hours. My co-workers have been harassed, threatened, accosted, and harmed. Knives, guns, and other weapons, and physical violence has occurred from gang members, shop-lifters, homeless, drug addicts, prostitutes, and unsupervised teens. One of my managers was pepper sprayed in the face for trying to stop shop lifters. Another manager was threatened with a gun, two of my female colleagues were assaulted, one knocked to the ground ans the other scared with a knife. Customers tried to help, caused a fight and one of the shoplifters had a machetti knife and knocked over shelves and displays. The police came and locked down the store for two hours. My co-manager overnight was jumped twice and punched/hit (he is 62), and another female manager got a glass bottle thrown at her. I been hit, shoved, spit on, had weapons pulled out on me, my windows on my car bashed in, and tires slashed for defending the store and my co-workers. Twice my home has been vandalized and attempted burglary since working at this store (when they broke in my car they stole my i.d. and information.) As of a couple days ago, I had another altercation with a shoplifter and she says she has been watching me, I don't know what that meant. When I worked the next night, someone broke into my home. We were all out at that time. They stole a few pieces of costume jewelry. But what scared me is that they know when we come and go. They let our beautiful babies (dogs) out from their kennel too. I don't want anything to happen to them, especially right after we lost the oldest one Nestle recently as mentioned my earlier requests. I cannot go on like this, it has bee scaring me and my family. I don't understand how (CVS) a big company cannot provide us with better security throughout the whole night. They make so much money and do not care about us. Please pray that I can get out of the overnights and be with my family and elder aunt who lives nearby during the night. I do not like to be away from them during those hours. Please pray my other boss will get me full time asap (and during the summer), or one/some of the other managers from (CVS), will help me get into days. Maybe I can get a position at school where I am finishing my grad work and be close to everything, since I want to work and give back to the college community where I attend. That is my real hope. Please pray for this and the safety of our home, my family, our dogs, and co-workers. Pray the Lord to give us all strength, protection, and to cast away such evil. Pray the Lord to put his protective hands around all this and to continue to bless us, in Jesus name. Thanks again! God Bless everyone.
