Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you today on behalf of Rewenla and her daughter Tara. We lift up Tara's upcoming High School softball game to you, Lord. We thank you for the hard work and dedication that Tara has put into her training and preparation for this game.
Father, we ask that you would be with Tara as she steps onto the field. Give her confidence and peace, knowing that she has done her best to prepare. We pray that you would open doors of opportunity for her to showcase her abilities and talents. Remove any obstacles or hindrances that may be preventing her from being recognized and given a chance to shine.
Lord, we know that you are a God who sees and knows the desires of our hearts. Just as the Syrophenician woman and the publican received immediate answers to their prayers, we ask that you would intervene on Tara's behalf. Help her to overcome any feelings of being pushed to the side and overlooked. Let her talents and skills be noticed and appreciated by her coaches and teammates.
We also pray for Tara's character and attitude throughout this process. May she demonstrate humility, perseverance, and a spirit of teamwork. Help her to trust in your timing and to remain focused on giving her best effort, regardless of the outcome.
Finally, we pray for Rewenla as a parent, that you would give her peace and assurance in knowing that you are in control. Strengthen her faith and grant her wisdom as she supports and encourages Tara in her athletic pursuits.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We trust in your perfect plan for Tara's life, both on and off the softball field. May your will be done, and may you be glorified through it all.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
