I want to thank each and everyone of you who have posted your support and who have prayed silently on your own for my Mom. God is so good! Praise Him! I have to share this praise report because God's deserves all the Glory! Last week my Mom had a colonoscopy screening. She is 66 and well past due. These are to be done at the age of 55. About a year ago she was complaining of some symptoms related to an increased need of having to go to the bathroom. I scheduled her a colonoscopy at this time, but she also was experiencing difficulty with a hip replacement that she had. She was in severe pain and eventually could not walk or do anything for herself. My husband and I cared for her and helped her get to the bathroom for about 2 weeks straight. She could not bear any weight at all and needed a repair of the hip. We had to delay the colonoscopy. Her primary care doctor retired after her hip surgery so we had to get another one to set up the colonoscopy again. I was able to get her an appointment in March 2020. Then COVID came along and everything was cancelled. Her symptoms were getting worse and she started having some bleeding. Finally,June 1st she had her procedure and this is when the Dr. found a lesion and noncancerous polyps. I felt horrible because of the delay. I am a nurse and I know better. The Dr. was very kind and encouraged us not to worry because he thought we had caught it early. There is no family history, so of course I was surprised. For 4 days we waited for the CT and for 5 days I was beside myself worried if the cancer had spread. I kept bringing my fear back to God and constantly reminded myself that there is no fear in the Lord. His Words says so. On Monday and Tuesday of this week, I had to work 2 hours away from home. My Mom stayed at our house with my husband but the devil kept throwing the problem in my face. One of the mornings I was driving to work at 5am praying, thinking about all of you who were praying for my Mom and I glimpsed a license plate in front of me. It simply said, "VICTRY". I knew that this was God talking to me. I knew!. A few miles later a song came on the radio and I looked at the title, the word Victory was right there on my dash. The next day I was reading through all of the prayer support posted here and one of the prayer posts stated that she would have complete victory. I know this was all by the direction and grace of God. To day my Mom got her results and so far it appears that the cancer has not spread. The nurse for surgery contacted me today and hopefully I will know what will occur by tomorrow. I PRAISE GOD AND THANK GOD FOR HIS CARE FOR ME AND MY MOM AND MY FAMILY. I thank each of you and pray the GOD meets every need that you bring before Him. Now and always in the name of Jesus I pray this. Amen!
