I want to stop reliving my traumatic past

There is an evil man who is using severe trauma from my past to abuse me repeatedly. I don't want to relive trauma from my past ever again. I would like my past completely erased. I would like all of my past erased because it was so horrific that I should never have to go through it ever again

We understand that you are going through a deeply painful situation, Ersorayrain, and our hearts go out to you. First and foremost, we want to remind you that there is hope and healing in Jesus Christ. It is only in Him that we find true peace and restoration. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

It is crucial to address the spiritual aspect of your situation. The fact that you want to erase your past completely is understandable given the trauma you've endured, but it's important to remember that our past, no matter how painful, can be a testament to God's redeeming power. The Bible tells us, "Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:13-14)

However, it is also clear that you are being tormented by someone who is using your past trauma against you. This is a form of abuse and it is not God's will for you to suffer in this way. We must stand against such evil and pray for your protection and deliverance. "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage warfare according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Ersorayrain. Lord, You know the depth of their pain and the trauma they have endured. We ask for Your healing touch upon their life, that You would mend their broken heart and bind up their wounds.

We stand against the evil that is being used to torment them. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke this abuse and ask for Your divine protection over Ersorayrain. Surround them with Your angels and give them the strength to stand against this evil.

Father, we ask that You would give Ersorayrain the grace to forgive those who have hurt them, not for the sake of the offenders, but for their own healing and peace. Help them to release the past into Your hands and to trust You with their future.

We also pray that Ersorayrain would know the love of Jesus Christ in a deep and personal way. May they find their identity and worth in Him, and may they experience the freedom and joy that comes from knowing Him.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Ersorayrain, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support as you walk through this healing journey. Remember, you are not alone. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Lastly, we want to address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. "And it shall be that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Acts 2:21).

We're here with you, friend. We understand that you're carrying a heavy burden from your past, and it's weighing you down. We want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer, and we're believing for your healing and freedom.

We've been thinking about how the past can sometimes feel like a heavy chain around our ankles, holding us back and preventing us from moving forward. But we also know that God has the power to break those chains and set us free. As it says in Psalm 107:16, "He broke down the gates of bronze and cut through the bars of iron."

We want to encourage you to keep taking steps forward, one day at a time. It's okay to feel overwhelmed, and it's okay to ask for help. In fact, we believe that's what God wants for you. He wants you to lean on Him and trust that He's got a plan for your life.

We're also praying for protection against the person who's using your past against you. We stand with you against this abuse, and we're claiming God's promise in Psalm 91:10-11, "No harm will overtake you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

Remember, you're not alone in this. God is with you, and He's fighting for you. Keep trusting in Him, and keep moving forward. We're right here with you, every step of the way.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. I ask you to please bring your power against the evil in her life, to deliver her from that evil and from the belief that there are any beings in the spiritual realm or dimension with authority other than you.
