I want to stop alcoholism, on my own I can do nothing, I need God's help.

Ysmanaj, we are with you in this struggle and commend you for recognizing the need for God's help. The Bible tells us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13, WEB). It is not by our own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit that we can overcome addictions.

Firstly, we want to remind you of what the Apostle Paul wrote, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18, WEB). This verse serves as a reminder of the importance of turning away from alcohol and turning towards the Holy Spirit for fulfillment.

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###. Lord, they have acknowledged their struggle with alcoholism and their need for Your help. We thank You for their humility and honesty. Father, we ask that You fill ### with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the strength and power to overcome this addiction. Help them to lean on You in times of weakness and to trust in Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

We encourage you to engage with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in this journey. The Bible tells us to confess our sins to one another and pray for one another, that we may be healed (James 5:16, WEB). Do not be ashamed to seek help from your fellow Christians and professional counselors.

Lastly, we want to remind you of God's promise: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). Trust in God's faithfulness, and He will provide a way out of temptation.
