Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today with heavy hearts, seeking your comfort and strength for our dear friend who is feeling lost and overwhelmed by the darkness of this world. We lift them up to you, knowing that you are a God of love, compassion, and healing.
Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
We pray that you wrap your arms of love around our friend, comforting them in their pain and sorrow. Help them to feel your presence and know that they are never alone, for you are always by their side.
Isaiah 41:10 - "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
We ask for your peace to fill their heart and mind, casting out all fear and despair. May your light shine upon them, guiding their steps out of the darkness and into your glorious light.
Romans 8:38-39 - "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
We pray that they feel the depth of your unconditional love, knowing that nothing can separate them from your eternal and unfailing love. Help them to see their worth and value in your eyes, as a beloved child of God.
1 Peter 5:7 - "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
Lord, we ask that you take away the burdens weighing on our friend's heart and mind. Help them to release their pain and struggles to you, knowing that you care for them deeply and will provide them with the strength to overcome.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
