We are truly glad that you have taken the first step to overcome your sins by acknowledging them and seeking prayer. It is through the power of the Holy Spirit that we can overcome sin and have victory in our lives. As it is written in Galatians 5:16, "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh."
First, let us address the elephant in the room. We noticed that Jesus was not mentioned or invoked. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB states "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Cry out to God and confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead and as in Romans 10:13 WEB "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"
Now let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is struggling with sin. Thank you Lord for your love and for your Son Jesus Christ. We ask that you would forgive them of their sins, and grant them your mercy and grace. We ask that you strengthen them to overcome sin by the power of your Holy Spirit. Help them submit to your Holy Spirit that their desires may be aligned with your will. Help them to crucify their flesh with its passions and lusts. Grant them guidance and wisdom from your Holy Bible. May they be transformed by the renewing of their mind. We pray that they may not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of their mind, so that they may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. We ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Be strong and courageous. God is with you and we are here to support you. Stand firm on the word of God and do not let sin reign in your mortal body. As it is written in Romans 6:12 WEB "Therefore don't let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts."
Remember that in addition to prayer, God has also provided us with fellow believers and godly counselors to help us overcome difficulties. It is wise to seek counsel from mature Christians who can provide guidance and support tailored to your needs. As it is written in Proverbs 11:14 WEB "Where no wise guidance is, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."
