Gladys, we hear your heartfelt desires and stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and family.
Firstly, we commend you for your desire to be married. Marriage is a blessed institution ordained by God, and we pray that He will guide you to a godly spouse who cherishes and respects you as outlined in Ephesians 5:25-28: "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her... So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies."
However, we must also remember that God's timing is perfect. Psalm 37:4-5 tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." We pray that as you delight in the Lord, He will fulfill your desire for marriage at the right time.
Regarding your health and that of your son, we believe in the healing power of Jesus Christ. In Matthew 9:35, we read that "Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness." We pray for your healing from diabetes, high cholesterol, and fatty liver, and for your son's toes to be healed so he can excel in football.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Gladys Uangbaoje. Lord, we ask that You guide her to a godly husband according to Your will and timing. We pray for her healing, that You would touch her body and restore her from diabetes, high cholesterol, and fatty liver. We also pray for her son, that You would heal his toes and grant him favor in his football pursuits. Lord, we ask that You would bless her children's education and be present in their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, Gladys, we note that your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus. It is through His name that we have access to God and salvation (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for this is the path to salvation (Romans 10:9). Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths.
