First, we are concerned you have not mentioned Jesus Christ and the role he should be playing in your relationship. We only have access to God through Jesus Christ and it is only by his name that we can be saved. He must be the cornerstone of your relationship.

Also we note that you mention you want to get married this year and you love each other but that there was a break up. You should consider courtship with the goal of marriage. However, there is also concern that you were intimate with each other physically. This is fornication and against scripture. Remember, 1 Corinthians 6:18 tells us:

Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

If you are considering marriage you must also be considering a wedding and a marriage certificate.

Sexual intimacy is a gift from God intended for a husband's and wife's enjoyment within the confines of marriage.

Also, we note that you did not mention that you and Odongo are Christians. We must make sure that you are equally yoked in your relationship. A marriage between a Christian and a non Christian is forbidden. If you do not share the same beliefs, you should not be marrying each other.

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?

Finally, we must address that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. And it is only by his name that we can be saved. If you do not believe in Jesus Christ and accept him as Lord and Savior you will be condemned to eternal life in Hell.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
