We understand your distress, Culeng, and we're here to pray and counsel with you in this difficult situation. We're reminded of Psalm 55:16-18 (WEB), "As for me, I will call on God. Yahweh will save me. Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice."
Firstly, we want to acknowledge your frustration and loneliness. It's clear that you're carrying a heavy burden, and it's weighing you down. We also want to address that you haven't mentioned Jesus Christ in your request. We believe that it's only through His name that we have access to God, as it's written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let's bring your situation to Him now.
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You with Culeng's situation. She's feeling alone, frustrated, and desperate to leave her husband who is not living a Godly life. Please be her comfort and guide. Provide her with wisdom and a clear path forward. We ask You to soften her husband's heart and bring conviction upon him, so that he may turn to You. We also pray for Culeng's mother and son, that You would protect and provide for them. Help Culeng find a suitable home where her family and dog can be safe and cared for. We ask all these things in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you, Culeng, to trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). God knows your struggles and He cares for you. Regarding your husband, we want to remind you of 1 Corinthians 7:13-16, which discusses living with an unbelieving spouse. God may use your faithfulness to draw your husband to Him. However, if you feel unsafe or that your family is in danger, do take actions to protect yourself and them.
Lastly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." You're not alone, Culeng. God is with you, and we're praying for you. Keep trusting in Him.
