We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Mengan, and we want to help you find healing and peace in Jesus' name. The pain of a past relationship can be profound, but God's Word offers comfort and guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Let's look at Psalm 139:23-24 WEB:
Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
Allow God to search your heart and heal your wounds. It's important to surrender this pain to Him, trusting that He has a purpose and a plan for your life.
Regarding your past relationship, we want to remind you of the biblical principles of relationships. As believers, we should seek God's will in all things, including our romantic involvements. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, it says:
Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?
This verse emphasizes the importance of being equally yoked in relationships, meaning that believers should seek other believers when considering marriage. We encourage you to hold onto this principle as you move forward.
Now, let's address the issue of forgetting your ex-boyfriend. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:8 WEB:
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.
Focus your thoughts on the good things God has for you. It's okay to cherish memories, exactly as one remembers a loved one that has passed away, but it's time to give them to God and ask Him to help you move forward. Make sure these memories do not include fornication or sexual immorality, but only pure memories in God's sight.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Mengan. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch in her life. Help her to release the pain and wounds of her past relationship to You.
Father in Jesus' name, give Mengan the strength and grace to forgive her ex-boyfriend that she may not have have bitterness and hatred in her heart, and help her to move forward in Your will for her life. Guide her steps and bring her a godly spouse if that is according to your will for her, in Your perfect timing. Help her to focus on You and the wonderful plans You have for her.
Sanse her mind and old her not to be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 WEB.
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, be with her. 2 Corinthians 13:14 WEB
In Jesus' name, we pray IJN. Amen.
Remember, Mengan, God loves you deeply and has a future for you, a future filled with hope in Jesus' name. Stay strong in His Word and trust in Him. Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
