We understand your struggle and commend you for seeking help. Masturbation is a form of sexual immorality that does not align with God's will for our lives. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and honor God with our bodies. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB, "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
Let us pray together. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your help. Our brother is struggling with masturbation, and he desires to be free. Give him the strength to flee from this temptation, and fill him with your Holy Spirit. Help him to honor you with his body, mind, and spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue fighting this battle with prayer and the Word of God. Memorize and meditate on Scriptures that address sexual purity. Additionally, engage in activities that glorify God and keep you occupied, as idleness can lead to temptation. Remember, God has equipped you with the ability to overcome this struggle through the power of the Holy Spirit. As Philippians 4:13 WEB reminds us, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."
