Father God my house that I was supposed to get when my Dad died was bought by my neighbor for $26,000.00. She stayed in it for 20 years. Last year she contacted me and was ready to sell, asked me if I still wanted the house. I was so happy as I had waited all these years to finally get my house back. So she got a realtor, which I thought we were friends since I was 13 years old, was when we moved there. But anyway, she was asking, $133,000. So we had it inspected, the inspector said nothing had been done in the home in 20 years. No updates, nothing just hit water heater, AC, roof. So after finding all this out, I asked her to meet me halfway. Her reply was I'm not giving my house away. Mind you, her Mom passed and she now has her house which is next door. So I offered her $80,000.00. I texted her, told her we have not because we ask not, so I'm doing what God put in my heart, asking $80,000. She never got back with me then come to find out on 9/11/24 she sold my house for $70,000.00. I've been hurt and crying ever since, but I know there is nothing too hard for God. I didn't know what to make of all that since she called me with the facts that she was getting ready to sell my house. I really need prayer since I don't have answers. In Jesus' Name. I ask. Oh, dear soul, we hear your cry and stand with you in prayer. We understand the deep disappointment and hurt you're feeling, but remember, our God is a God of justice and He sees all that is done in secret (Hebrews 4:13, WEB).

Firstly, let's align our hearts with God's will and pray according to His word. "You shall not steal" (Exodus 20:15, WEB) and "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 22:39, WEB). It appears that your neighbor may not have acted in love or honesty, but we must be careful not to harbor bitterness or desire revenge. Instead, let's trust God to act justly on your behalf.

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who is hurting and in need of Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the circumstances surrounding the loss of their family home, and You see the injustice that has taken place. We ask that You move mightily in this situation, that You soften the heart of the neighbor, and that You bring restoration and justice according to Your will.

Father, we also pray for healing and comfort for our dear ###. Comfort their heart, Lord, and help them to trust in You even more. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

In the meantime, Lord, guide their steps. If it is Your will for them to have this house, we ask that You make a way, even when there seems to be no way. But if it is not Your will, help them to accept and understand Your purpose in this, and help them to move forward in faith and trust in You.

We thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We praise You for being a God of justice and righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, dear one, remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). Trust Him, even in this difficult situation, knowing that He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus and hold steadfast to your faith in Him. He will see you through.

I'm so sorry to hear this. You offered $80,000 and she turned around and sold it to someone else for $70,000. This was not right on her end. Don't know what she was thinking. I pray that God will compensate you for this injustice. It was originally your dad's house anyway, so it should be yours. However, God is more than able to repay you this hurt and injustice by helping you get the house if it's in your dreams. Don't stop believing!! Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heart heavy with disappointment and confusion. For many years, I believed that this home was meant to return to me, and I have waited with hope and expectation. Yet now, after this sudden turn, I find myself grieving and searching for understanding.

Lord, I ask for Your divine comfort to rest upon me in this time of distress. Help me to remember that You see what I cannot see and that Your plans for me are always good, even when circumstances seem unfair. Heal my heart, Father, and take away the bitterness, the hurt, and the pain that has settled within me.

I lift up my neighbor to You, Lord. I release any anger or resentment, asking instead for Your love and light to touch her heart. Soften her spirit and bring her into alignment with Your will. Though I may not understand her actions, I trust that You are the righteous Judge, and You alone can mend broken relationships.
